What information do I need to create an account?

To register, you'll need:

• Your Town of Osoyoos water utility bill.
• Your water account number.
• Your full name or street address exactly as it appears on your bill.

• A valid email address.

Why won't my account register?

The most common reason is that the information entered does not exactly match what is on your water bill. Please check that:

• Your account number is entered correctly.
• Your full name matches your bill exactly, including any middle name or initials.
• Your street address is entered exactly as shown, including abbreviations (for example, St, Ave, or Rd).

Can I use a different email address than the one on my utility account?

Yes. Your portal account can be created using any valid email address.

Can more than one person register for the same water account?

Yes. Multiple users can register to view the same water account using their own email addresses, provided they have the required account information.

I don't have my water bill. Can I still register?

You'll need your account number and the account holder's information exactly as it appears on the bill to complete registration. If you don't have your bill, contact the Town of Osoyoos for assistance.

I received an error saying my account couldn't be found. What should I do?

Double-check that you've entered your account number, name, and street address exactly as they appear on your bill. Even small differences, such as missing a middle name or using a different street abbreviation, can prevent registration.

I didn't receive the account verification email. What should I do?

• Check your junk or spam folder.

• Confirm you entered your email address correctly.

  If you still haven't received the email after a few minutes, try registering again or contact the Town of Osoyoos for assistance.

Can I change my email address or password later?

Yes. Once you've registered, you can update your account information, including your email address and password, through the portal settings.

Do I need to register again if I move?

Yes. If you open a new water account with the Town of Osoyoos, you'll need to add the new account to your portal or register it using your new account information.

What is the Consumer Water Portal?

The Consumer Water Portal is a free online tool that allows you to monitor and manage your water consumption anytime, from any internet-enabled device.

Why should I sign up?

With metered water billing beginning in January 2027, the portal helps you understand your water use before metered billing takes effect. It also allows you to identify leaks, monitor usage trends, and set alerts to help manage your consumption.

Is there a cost to use the portal?

No. The Consumer Water Portal is free for utility customers.

What devices can I use?

The portal can be accessed from any desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection.

Can I view more than one property?

Yes. If you have multiple water accounts, you can manage them all under one portal account.

How often is my water usage updated?

Water consumption data is updated regularly throughout the day. There may be a short delay between when water is used and when it appears in the portal.

Can I set up alerts?

Yes. You can receive notifications for:

• Higher-than-normal water use.
• Continuous water use that may indicate a leak.
• Water usage while you're away from home.
• Custom water use thresholds based on your preferences.

Will the portal notify me if I have a leak?

The portal can alert you to unusual or continuous water use that may indicate a leak. It is the property owner's responsibility to investigate and repair any leaks.

Does the portal replace my water bill?

No. Your utility bill remains your official billing document. The portal is a tool to help you monitor and understand your water consumption.

Is my information secure?

Yes. The Consumer Water Portal uses secure technology to protect your account information and water usage data.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Select "Forgot Password" on the portal login page and follow the prompts to reset your password. You will need the answers to the security questions you chose at account registration.

I'm having trouble registering. What should I do?

First, verify that your account number, name, and street address have been entered exactly as they appear on your water bill. If you continue to experience issues, contact the Town of Osoyoos at 250-495-6515 for assistance.

Do I need to register before water metering begins?

Registration is optional, but signing up now allows you to become familiar with your water use and take advantage of the portal's tools before metered billing begins in January 2027.

Most strata properties have been assigned a single water meter. Once the Town transitions to metered utility billing, the strata corporation will be responsible for utility billing. As a result, individual strata units will no longer receive utility bills directly from the Town.

The strata corporation can register for the My360 Consumer Water Portal to monitor water consumption. To create an account, the strata board must contact the Town of Osoyoos at 250-495-6515 or finance1@osoyoos.ca to obtain the account information required for registration.
