Wind Chimes

"Narrow Passage, Ageless Song" was created by Ontario sculptor Don Dickson and was influenced by the geography and history of Osoyoos.

Commissioned by the Town of Osoyoos as part of the Okanagan Thompson International Sculpture Symposium Don Ian Dickson and Amy Doolittle.

The sound sculpture's overall shape resembles the nearby mountains, the stainless steel uprights capture the essence of Osoyoos which means the narrowing of the lake, the adjoining pieces are distant mountain silhouettes and bridge the two sides of the narrows together while the annual lunar cycle of 13 moons around the base incorporate Osoyoos Indian Band text for their season.
