Community Safety

Cherry Fiesta is one of the Town's busiest days, and public safety is our top priority. The Canada Day fireworks are weather dependent. Osoyoos Fire Rescue will monitor conditions throughout the day, and if conditions are deemed unsafe, the fireworks may be cancelled.

Following the fireworks display, expect heavy traffic and delays. Please follow the direction of traffic control personnel and drive with care. If possible, consider walking, cycling, carpooling, or using other alternate modes of transportation to help reduce traffic congestion and parking demand.

The Town of Osoyoos wishes everyone a safe, and enjoyable Canada Day!🍁
