• Council reviewed options for a cricket pitch at Desert Park.

Public Hearing

• A Public Hearing was held regarding the proposed Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR) Block Exclusion application. Following consideration of public input, Council approved submitting an application to the Agricultural Land Commission (ALC) to exclude approximately 178.11 hectares of land from the ALR for the Commission's review and decision.

Bylaws

• Election Amendment Bylaw No. 1332.02, 2026 was adopted.

Reports of Committees and COTW

• Council approved the installation of a cricket pitch at Desert Park, with all installation costs to be funded by the BC Mainland Cricket League (BCMCL). An administrative agreement will be established to credit future cricket pitch rental fees to BCMCL until the value of the installation costs has been recovered.

The next Council meeting is schedule for June 23, 2026.
