The Sun Bowl Arena was constructed in 1974 and is home to the South Okanagan Minor Hockey Association (SOMHA), the Sun Bowl Figure Skating Club, and the Osoyoos Coyotes Junior Hockey Team. The arena offers public skating opportunities throughout the season and is also available for private ice rentals.

General Rules and Guidelines
Sun Bowl Arena is not supervised. Use at your own risk.
The Town of Osoyoos is not responsible for lost or stolen articles
No one is allowed on the ice until the resurfacer doors are closed.
Only persons wearing skates are allowed on the ice surface.
We recommend that children under 12 years of age be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
All participants must conduct themselves in a courteous, safe and family oriented manner.
No food or drinks are permitted on the ice surface or lacing area.
No chewing tobacco or sunflower seeds.
Be respectful of the building, its employees and guests. No foul language.
Please keep our arena clean and recycle.
