Located in the heart of Osoyoos, the Sonora Community Centre features a gymnasium, a full-service weight room with a variety of cardio, weight machines and free weights, a dance studio, craft room, and multipurpose rooms.

Birthday Party Rentals
Parties must be booked at least one (1) week in advance. Parties are booked for two hours and use of either our sports equipment or a limited amount of preschool play equipment. Parties are held on Saturday afternoons. More time may be added onto the birthday party rental for an additional rental fee.

About West Bench Complex
West Bench Complex is a recreation complex located on the west side of Osoyoos Lake, beside Osoyoos Secondary School. The complex features a number of recreation amenities, including two ball diamonds, three hardcourt tennis courts, four pickleball courts and an off-leash dog park.
Off-Leash Dog Park
Dogs are welcome year-round in most Osoyoos parks, provided they are on a leash. However, for those times when your dog has extra energy or is looking to mingle, we are happy to offer a year-round off-leash dog park including a fully fenced space for small dogs only and a larger area for dogs of all sizes. Clean-up bag dispensers and garbage cans are located on site.
Jack Shaw Gardens

Monday–Sunday, 10:00 am–8:00 pm (May–September)The Jack Shaw Splash Park officially opened on June 6, 2014, thanks to community fundraising efforts and the Splash Park Committee which was formed in 2012. The Splash Park may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance, equipment repair or other operational concerns.
The Splash Park is not a supervised area so please use at your own risk. The Town is not responsible for lost or stolen articles . Children under 12 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Splash Park is for recreational purposes only, no bathing allowed.
Looking to host a birthday party or event at the Splash Park? A Park Use Permit will be required for for events up to 50 people, a Special Event permit will be required for events over 50 people. Find out more about hosting an event here.
Safety Rules to Follow while enjoying the Splash Park
- Running, undue roughness, horseplay, and other undue disturbances are strictly prohibited.
- Do not climb, hang, swing, or pull on the Splash Park equipment.
- Pool toys and floats are prohibited.
- No glass containers or breakable objects allowed.
- No food or beverages of any kind in the rubber splash area.
- Infants not toilet trained should wear a swim diaper.
- Persons with infectious diseases or having open sores shall not use the Splash Park.
- Water shoes or sandals are recommended (No street shoes).
- No skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters. Strollers, walkers and wheelchairs allowed.
- Pets are not allowed in the Splash Park -except service animals.
