The Jack Shaw Splash Park officially opened on June 6, 2014, thanks to community fundraising efforts and the Splash Park Committee which was formed in 2012. The Splash Park may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance, equipment repair or other operational concerns.
Splash Park Hours
Monday–Sunday, 10:00 am–8:00 pm (May–September)
The Splash Park is not a supervised area so please use at your own risk. The Town is not responsible for lost or stolen articles . Children under 12 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Splash Park is for recreational purposes only, no bathing allowed.
Looking to host a birthday party or event at the Splash Park? A Park Use Permit will be required for for events up to 50 people, a Special Event permit will be required for events over 50 people. Find out more about hosting an event here.
Safety Rules to Follow while enjoying the Splash Park
- Running, undue roughness, horseplay, and other undue disturbances are strictly prohibited.
- Do not climb, hang, swing, or pull on the Splash Park equipment.
- Pool toys and floats are prohibited.
- No glass containers or breakable objects allowed.
- No food or beverages of any kind in the rubber splash area.
- Infants not toilet trained should wear a swim diaper.
- Persons with infectious diseases or having open sores shall not use the Splash Park.
- Water shoes or sandals are recommended (No street shoes).
- No skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters. Strollers, walkers and wheelchairs allowed.
- Pets are not allowed in the Splash Park -except service animals.
