The Town of Osoyoos is pleased to welcome Mandy Jones as the new Director of Planning and Development Services. Mandy has gained a deep understanding of all aspects of planning and development during her 20 years at the City of Prince George planning department, most recently as the Manager of Development Services. Mandy has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning, has experience as an Approving Officer, and has professional planner designations with the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Planning Institute of B.C.
 
Mandy will commence work at the Osoyoos Planning Office on October 5, 2026. Once she has settled in, we will hold an open house at the Planning Office for her to meet the community and hear feedback on planning and development, business licencing, and building inspection services. The open house date will be advertised through e-news, Facebook and the Town’s website.
