Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the BC Interior for the upcoming days.

Heat affects everyone but the risks are greater for seniors, people with pre-existing health conditions such as diabetes, heat disease or respiratory disease, people with mental illness, and people with substance-use disorders.

Watch for the effects of heat illness and call 8-1-1 for advice.
