The Province of British Columbia has announced changes to the Homeowner Grant program.
Beginning in 2027, the additional $200 grant previously available to eligible northern and rural properties will no longer be offered.
As a result, the maximum Homeowner Grant amounts will be:
Regular Homeowner Grant: up to $570
Additional Homeowner Grant (for eligible seniors and persons with disabilities): up to $845
These changes will apply to all eligible properties beginning with the 2027 property tax year.
