Volunteer Recognition Awards
Osoyoos is privileged to be served by hundreds of volunteers who contribute towards the betterment of our community. Each year the Town of Osoyoos recognizes and celebrates the valuable contributions volunteers make to our community through the Annual Volunteer Recognition Awards. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic our annual event was not able to take place in 2020 and will not be able to take place this year as we had hoped. However, we would still like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication our community volunteers have exhibited.
This year, Council is planning to recognize individuals and their achievements made in 2019 and 2020 with a community recognition page in April 21st issue of the Times-Chronicle and on the Town of Osoyoos website. Provincial Health Orders permitting, a small award presentation may be able to take place outside.
