RFP Town Entrance Signs Deadline October 24, 2017
Sealed proposals clearly marked “2017 Operational Services Department Town Entrance Signs” will be received at the Town of Osoyoos Municipal Offices, 8707 Main Street, Osoyoos, BC up to 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
The project comprises the following:
- Design, build and install four (4) Welcome to Osoyoos signs. These signs are to be installed at the North, South, East and West highway entrances to the Town. (See attached map for proposed sign locations)
- Removal and disposal of existing Town entrance signs and remediation of the sites if required.
- The design of the new signage should reflect the unique character of the community. Themes such as: Canada’s only desert, major agricultural production, wine, strong ties to aboriginal community past and present, Canada’s warmest lake, year round tourist destination, sunny hot weather should be reflected in the sign’s design.
- Supply, install and energize lighting for three (3) entrance signs.
- Construction material must be zero to low maintenance, be able to weather extreme heat without fading and reflect the character elements identifies in #3 above.
The lowest or any proposal will not necessarily be accepted.
