Public Open House on Zoning Bylaw Amendment on July 15, 2013
Public Notice is hereby given that the Town will host a Public Open House on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the Sonora Community Centre located at 8505 68th Ave to inform the public in regards to the following:
- Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment Bylaw No.1230.12, 2013 will amend the Southeast Meadowlark Area Plan and will append a three dimensional Concept Plan as a reference for applying the Intensive Residential Development Permit Area (IRDPA) guidelines;
- OCP Amendment Bylaw No. 1230.13, 2013 will add Intensive Residential Development (IRD) Permit Area Guidelines to the OCP, which consist of General Permit Guidelines and Specific Permit Guidelines for a number of Individual Housing Types such as small lot single-detached housing with optional carriage homes at the rear, small lot two-family housing with optional walk-out basement suites, row housing with rear or shared parking, fourplexes, and apartment buildings up to three storeys in height.
- Zoning Bylaw Amendment No. 1085.87, 2013 for adding a new IRD zone.
