Public Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Town Hall located at 8707 Main Street.

The Town will be conducting the Public Hearing in person and virtually. The public is invited to participate by virtually attending the Zoom Video Conference or by telephone. For more information on how to participate in the Public Hearing, please see the link below.

All persons who believe their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw are encouraged to provide written submission to the Corporate Officer by 12:00 pm (Noon) on August 24, 2021, by delivering or mailing a copy of their submission to the Town Office located at 8707 Main Street, PO Box 3010, Osoyoos, BC, V0H 1V0 or email info@osoyoos.ca. Only emails that are submitted to the info@osoyoos.ca email will be included in the agenda package.

All written submissions will be provided to Council and be made public and form a part of the public record.

There is no preregistration required to attend the meeting, as once you click on the button below it will allow you to join the meeting. You will be provided with an opportunity to speak, once the Mayor calls for public input. To do so, you will virtually raise your hand to speak and you will be unmuted. You have 5 minutes to make your presentation to Council. If you have additional information and you are unable to provide it within 5 minutes, you shall be given an opportunity to address Council after all other interested members of the public have been heard for the first time.

Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1085.138, 2021:  If adopted the rezoning will allow for the addition of SELF-STORAGE WAREHOUSE as a site-specific use to the subject property at 5816 51st Street.

SELF-STORAGE WAREHOUSE: means a multi-tenanted building for the indoor storage of personal or business items not including industrial or toxic materials.

Lot 4, District Lot 43, SDYD, Plan 23385 (5816 51st St).

The deadline for written submissions is 12:00 pm (Noon) Tuesday, August 24, 2021

Inspection of Documents: Copies of the bylaw and related documents will be available for review at the Planning and Development Services Office located at 8711 Main Street, on the following weekday days: August 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23 and 24, 2021 between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, excluding lunch hours from 12:00 -1:00 pm.

No further submissions can be considered by Council after the conclusion of the Public Hearing.
