The main lift as of today is pumping through the new force main.
Cantex-Okanagan Construction has been awarded a contract by the Town of Osoyoos to install an underground sewer main which will run along 89th Street between Kingfisher and Cactus Crescent, up Cactus Crescent, along and across Highway 97, up 107th and 58th Street to the sewage treatment plant by the golf course. You should not experience interruption of any services as a result of this project.
Construction is scheduled to start this coming Monday, September 29th and should finish up in December.
As with any project of this nature, you will likely experience more dust, noise, and vibration than normal. There may be short periods when you do not have access to your property. We try to minimize disruptions to residents, and are happy to work with you if you have any special requests for access during construction.
There will be heavy construction equipment working, and we ask that you please obey any and all signs and stay as far away from the equipment as possible. If you have school-age children please talk to them about the dangers of being around heavy equipment and the importance of making sure equipment operators see them before passing by our equipment. Safety is the top priority for us, let us know how we are doing.
Our superintendent on-site for this job is Mike Lauer, Cell # is 250-486-6603. Please contact Mike directly with any requests or concerns about the on-site activities.
