Notice of Amendment - Council Procedure Bylaw 1271

Pursuant to Section 124 of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that Council will be considering amending Council Procedure Bylaw No. 1271, 2010 by giving readings to Council Procedure Amendment Bylaw No. 1271.02, 2018 at its Regular Open meeting of Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM. This bylaw will amend Council Procedure Bylaw No. 1271, 2010 as follows:

• By changing the first regular meeting following a general local election to be held on the first Monday in November rather than the first Monday in December.
• By adding council protocol section to include:

  •  Council to comply with Council Protocol and Records Management Policy
  •  Council to comply with Respect in the Workplace Policy

A copy of both this bylaw and accompanying staff reports can be viewed at the Town office between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday or on the Town of Osoyoos ( website.
