Osoyoos residents are being encouraged to get up and get active for Move for Health this Friday. Join us at the Sonora Community Centre on Friday, May 10 at 10:00am for our Community "Take a Hike" Challenge. All participants will receive a water bottle and be entered into a draw to win one of two Adult 10 Punch Passes to the Sonora Community Centre.
Can't make it Friday morning? You can still participate any time between May 10-12. Pick a trail from our Take a Hike Trail Map and get outdoors with family, friends, or co-workers. Once you are finished, email the names and phone numbers of the participants, plus the trail you hiked on, to lcarvalho@osoyoos.ca. All participants will be entered to win one of two Adult 10 Punch Passes to the Sonora Community Centre.
Looking to get active while staying out of the heat? Stop in to the Sonora Community Centre on Friday, May 10, where all drop-in programs are FREE for the day, including access to our weight room. Drop-in programs scheduled for Friday include Open Gym from 8:30-10:00, 12:30-2:30, and 5:00-8:00, Adult Pickelball from 10:15-12:30, and Youth Basketball from 2:30-5:00. The weight room is open from 8:30-7:45.
So get up, get active, and Take a Hike. Your body will love you for it!
