Pursuant to Section 185(2) of the Community Charter, notice of intention to provide assistance must be published.
The Town of Osoyoos Council intends to loan $20,000 (maximum) to the Osoyoos Fireworks Committee for the expressed purpose of providing a deposit to purchase Fireworks for July 1, 2013 display. This loan would be reimbursed by June 30, 2013.
Council will pass a resolution to support or deny this request at the Council meeting to be held in Council Chamber (8707 Main Street) on June 3, 2013 @ 2:00 pm.
Residents wishing to be heard in person or comment in writing must register with Corporate Services prior to Noon on May 29, 2013 by submitting a letter or email.
