EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Relief Recreation Facilities Attendant Deadline October 1

The Resort Municipality of Osoyoos, BC, located in the beautiful South Okanagan Valley, is accepting applications for the position of Relief Recreation Facilities Attendant.

Position Information

The Town of Osoyoos Community Services Department is inviting applications for a Relief Recreation Facilities Attendant.

The Applicant will be required to perform semi-skilled and skilled facilities maintenance of a varied nature under the direction of the Director of Community Services. Work involves ice-making duties, monitoring the operation of the refrigeration plant at the Sun Bowl Arena, custodial, janitorial, and maintenance duties at the facility as well as ground maintenance.

The applicant must possess a BC Driver's License - Class 5, a recognized First Aid Certificate, and a BC Safety Authority certificate in safety awareness. An Ice Facility Operators course or Refrigeration Certificate would be a definite asset.

The position is a CUPE position and the starting rate is $28.14 - $31.27 per hour plus 15% in lieu of benefits. Hours of work will vary and will include evening and weekend shifts.
