EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Bylaw Enforcement Supervisor Deadline March 29
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, this full time exempt position will perform inspectional, regulatory and investigational work involving the enforcement of Town Bylaws. This position will also be responsible for the enforcement of the Town’s Animal Control bylaw and impounding and caring for animals.
This position requires someone who possesses excellent skills in communication, leadership, and conflict resolution with experience and the ability to diffuse hostility in an effective manner. You will have the ability to work both independently and interdependently while exercising sound judgement and initiative.
Proven experience, thorough knowledge and the ability to demonstrate the principles, methods and equipment used in the capture, care and handling and safe transportation of injured, vicious, or stray animals.
This position will be responsible for supervising two part-time seasonal bylaw officers and two seasonal park ambassadors.
Shift work and call outs may be required.Must be able to pass and maintain an RCMP vulnerable persons check.
