Delegations

  • Mayor McKortoff thanked Rick Jones former Fire Chief for the Osoyoos Fire Department for all his years of dedicated service to the community and provided him with an Osoyoos picture as a token of gratitude.

Business

Reports

  • The Community Services Advisory Committee minutes of October 24, 2017 were received and Council directed staff to bring back information to the next Committee of the Whole meeting on who is responsible for regulating jumping off the bridge.
  • Councillor Rhodes encouraged anyone who is interested in being a member of the Dog Park Committee to submit applications.
  • Councillor King thanked everyone who took part in the Christmas Light up celebrations.
  • Mayor McKortoff attended the Osoyoos Lake Water Quality Society meeting last week.
  • Mayor McKortoff encouraged everyone to shop locally this holiday season and support the community.
  • Mayor McKortoff thanked everyone in the community in making Christmas Light up a wonderful event.

The public is encouraged to attend the Committee of the Whole meetings which take place in Council Chambers at 9:00AM on the morning of the Regular Open Council meetings at 2:00 PM to learn additional in-depth information regarding upcoming business.
