DELEGATIONS
- Agricultural Land Commission met with Council to give an overview of things that have changed since they last met
BYLAWS
- Osoyoos Water District Rates and Regulations Amendment Bylaw No. 1241.09, 2016 was read a first, second and third time to include staged water restrictions for Rural Water Systems 8 & 9
- Water Conservation and Staged Restriction Amendment Bylaw No. 1273.01, 2016 was read a first, second and third time
- 5 Year Financial Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1317.01, 2016 was read a first, second and third time
BUSINESS
- Council directed staff to add the Community Celebration to the Waterfront Steering Committee Agenda
- Council authorized administration to enter into an Memorandum of Understanding with CUPE 608 for the use of union staff for the purpose of maintaining all public washroom and Town buildings
- Council gave authorization for the Town to sign a letter to the provincial government seeking clarification on the permanent inspection station for zebra and quagga mussels in Penticton versus a major border crossing in Osoyoos
REPORTS
- Council is encouraging all residents to come out and support the Daffodil campaign for the month of April
- Council is encouraging all residents to attend the School Board meeting at the Mini Theatre at Osoyoos Secondary School on April 6th at 7:00 for the decision on the school closure
- Thanked everyone who attended the Easter Eggstravaganze on March 26th
- Volunteer luncheon is being held on April 9th at the Sonora Community Centre at 12:00p.m. Thank you to all volunteers in the community for all that you do
- Soroptimist breakfast and fashion show is being held at Watermark on April 16th

The public is encouraged to attend the Committee of the Whole meetings which take place in Council Chambers at 9:00AM on the morning of the Regular Open Council meetings at 2:00 PM to learn additional in-depth information regarding upcoming business.
