Town of Osoyoos - Active Transportation Network Plan
Let's Hear From You!
The Town of Osoyoos has begun the development of an active transportation plan that will provide strategic direction for an active transportation network that is equitable and accessible for people of all ages and abilities.
Our community has a voice, and that’s extremely important to us. We have created a fun online survey for Osoyoos residents to help directly shape this initiative.
Have your voice heard by taking the survey today at Metro Quest Survey or scan the QR Code with your mobile device.
Consultation & Public Engagement
Engage key stakeholders and members of the community to provide feedback on the proposed network and facility types, missing gaps, safety and accessibility concerns, and prioritization of individual projects
KEY FINDINGS TO DATE:
• Discontinuous cycle network
• Major spines connected across town but gaps to key community destinations such as schools, town/hall/library.
• Sidewalks are missing from both sides on many streets.
• Prioritization framework will be important in identifying which links are constructed in the short term.
• Highway 3/MOTI consultation will be important for bicycle options. The Highway 3 Bridge is a key east-west connection for the Town that may require upgrades.
