Bylaws

  • Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1085.142, 2022 was adopted. This bylaw allows for the rezoning of the property located at 4008 Oleander Drive from R1 Single Family Residential to R2 Single Family Residential Small lot to allow the owner to subdivide and create one new small residential lot.

  • Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1375.01, 2022 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1085.141, 2022 were adopted. Council authorized issuance of Development Permit No. 22-07 which allows for a residential development of 5 townhomes and 17 condominiums to be built at 7808 Spartan Drive.

  • Travel and Expense Repeal Bylaw No 1379, 2022 was read for a first second and third time. This Bylaw would repeal Travel and Expense Bylaw No. 1265, 2010 and replace with a Travel Expense Policy that would be reviewed twice a year by staff to ensure clear guidelines and fair compensation for those who are required to travel and attend meetings, conferences, or training.

  • Mayor McKortoff attended the International Osoyoos Lake Board of Control meeting.
  • Mayor McKortoff attended the Mayor's Roundtable meeting with Interior Health.
  • Mayor McKortoff, Councillor King, and Councillor Bennett attended the Resort Municipality Initiative Stakeholders Meeting
  • The Mayor reminded everyone that Cherry Fiesta is on July 1st.
